A Less Lethal Approach to Piracy Defense

Sorry for the sparseness of news lately – lots happening.

My personal opinion is that this could be construed as part of the first stage in “escalation”. If you use something that looks like this, will the ‘bad guys’ respond with proper firearms, shooting real bullets? Something to be aware of and ponder. As always, it is up to the captain and owner what measures they will deem appropriate.
I like to view our services here at Maritime Vital Asset Protection as similar to the functions of a lighthouse – we will show you a way to keep out of harms way (or more than one) – but the ultimate decision is the mariner’s call.
